MAE 4815 Elements of Algebra

This course demonstrates how to investigate the conceptual nature of mathematics and algebra. The students explore topics in set theory, number systems, number theory, data analysis, algebraic structures and elementary probability. Development of critical mathematical reasoning and application of theories using technology are emphasized.
