BCV V133 Residential Carpentry III (N)

This course teaches the skills needed for frame and form carpentry. Topics include blueprints and specifications, site preparation, framing members, walls and partition framing, roof framing, roof trusses, and sheathing. Also covered are use of a transit and a builder's level, construction of forms, installation of rigging and scaffolding, exterior doors and stairs, window units, tilt up and precast walls, structural timber, and roofing components.
