DTE 1103L Complete Denture Lab (N)

This course is the laboratory application of the theory of complete denture construction. Students demonstrate skill in the use of plaster; lab stone; thermoforming plastics; acrylic resins; articulators; alginate; and waxes. Students are able to construct casts; trays; occlusion rims; trial dentures; and invest and finish denture; as well as perform relines and repairs. Students operate and become familiar with the necessary equipment used in denture construction.
