DTE 1107L Partial Denture Lab (N)

This course is the laboratory application of the theory of partial denture construction. Students demonstrate skill in the use of plaster; stone; waxes; investments; alloys; and acrylic resins. Student survey, plan, design, and prepare master casts for partial denture framework construction. Students fabricate a refractory cast; wax up partial denture designs; invest, cast, and finish the metal frameworks; set up and process denture teeth on partial denture frameworks; as well as repair and reline partial denture frameworks.
