EMS 1119C Emergency Medical Technician

This course provides instruction in basic life support emphasizing the theory and skills required to recognize, assess, plan, and provide basic management of acutely ill and injured patients. Students participate in a combination of classroom discussions and scenario-based skills lab practice and application. Requires admission to the EMT program. Student must possess valid healthcare provider CPR certification throughout the entire program.
