ETP 2322 Enhanced Power Systems

This course provides an overview of the electric power and distribution industry and introduces smart grid, demand side management and other energy management techniques used by electric utilities. Concepts and vocabulary of power generation and distribution are covered as well as the drivers behind the smart grid movement and how its proposed benefits can impact utilities, the environment, and energy policy.
