IND 2420 Materials and Sources of Interior Design

This course covers the non-textile construction materials of interior design. Wood, plastic, stone, masonry, glass, paint, wall coverings, and marble are a few of the materials studied. Also studied are appliances and bathroom fixtures. Applications of materials are covered and specifications recommended by professional trade associations are reviewed.

The completion of a vendor resource file and a visit to a design center are integral parts of the course.
