MAC 1140 Precalculus Algebra

This course is required for students who need calculus. Topics in this course include polynomial, rational, exponential and logarithmic functions with their properties and graphs, polynomial and rational inequalities, conic sections, matrices and determinants, sequences and series, mathematical induction, and Binomial theorem and application.

A graphics calculator is required for this course.

Gordon Rule course - must achieve a grade of "C" or higher for the A.A. and A.S. Degree.
