MAE 4222 Stats/Prob for ESE/Math Cert Majors

This course is one of four courses designed to prepare students for teaching middle grades Math and Exceptional Student Education (ESE). Concepts include methods of random sampling and data analysis; how to organize and display data; measures of central tendency; measures of dispersion; normal distribution; correlation and regression; types of probability, events and counting methods; calculating simple and joint probability; logical and compound statements; conditional, bi-conditional and quantified statements; and Euler diagrams.

ESE teaching strategies and state certification preparation are also presented.
