MEA V800 Medical Assisting Practicum (N)

This course presents a general overview of the operation of a medical practice. Students are assigned to a physician's office or clinic for a total of two hundred (200) hours to observe and, under supervision, perform basic administrative, laboratory, and clinical duties.

Conference meetings are arranged between the student and the internship director. Completion of Medical Assisting Program and permission of instructor is required.
