MHF 3202 Sets & Logic

This course covers the use of language in mathematics, set theory, functions, relations, and logic, with additional topics at the discretion of the professor (e.g. Boolean algebras, symmetries of the plane, wallpaper patters). Examples of sets, operations on sets, set algebra, Venn diagrams, truth tables, tautologies, applications to mathematical arguments and mathematical induction are studied.
