SPC 1017 Fundamentals of Speech Communication

This survey course examines the process of communication in a variety of contexts including interpersonal communication, small group communication, public speaking, organizational communication, mass communication, and intercultural communication. Students study and understand fundamental concepts, principles and theoretical concerns at the foundation of effective communication, and they develop the skills necessary to apply these principles in a variety of contexts.
