TSL 3080 ESOL Issues: Principles and Practices

This course provides an introduction to the issues, principles, and practices of teaching English to speakers of other languages. It prepares classroom teachers to provide linguistically and culturally appropriate instruction and assessment for Limited English Proficient (LEP) students. It provides the foundations of knowledge necessary to meet the instructional needs of linguistically and culturally diverse students.
