GIS 2080 CAD-GIS & Mapping

This course teaches advanced techniques using the current AutoCAD MAP program for GIS and other advanced drawing tools. The curriculum focuses on using software operations in the workflow of AutoCAD drawing production including entity data management, digitizing, topology creation, path and flood traces, map clean-up, and thematic presentations. The students complete a series of tutorials, drawings, maps, and other real world GIS projects.
