EGN 1002 Introduction to Engineering

This course introduces engineering and technology professions with emphasis on the spectrum of professionalism, opportunities, and careers. The student is introduced to engineering concepts and principles, responsibilities, communication and presentation, problem-solving techniques and technical calculations. Various engineering specialties are represented through appropriate presentation made by working professionals from the local engineering community. Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is recommended.
