HUM 1541 Humanities Literature: Ancient to Renaissance

This course teaches the aesthetic, social, and philosophical theories expressed in the literature from Ancient times through the Renaissance. Students are introduced to Mesopotamian, Egyptian, and Hebrew writings; to Greek and Roman mythology; to representative philosophical, historical, social, literary, and aesthetic movements; and to classic works of literature from Ancient times through the Renaissance period. Students demonstrate college-level writing skills through multiple assignments. Gordon Rule course - must achieve a grade of "C" or higher for the A.A. Degree.
