PMT V108 Introduction to Welding (N)

This course builds foundational skills needed in the welding industry. Safety is emphasized along with applied physics, math, work place and communications skills. Cutting ang gouging techniques as well as equipment setup using oxyfuel, carbon arc, and plasma cutting are covered. Safe practices in the preparation of the work area, proper use of tools and equipment along with handling of materials and highly pressurized gases are emphasized.
