CHI 1120 Elementary Chinese I

This course teaches true beginners basic Chinese language skills including listening, speaking, reading and writing. Mastery of 350 Chinese characters, basic spoken and literary syntax, pronunciation are key objectives along with an understanding of the cultural context of the Chinese language. This course can be used toward the foreign language requirements for university admission.
