CJL 3010 Legal Aspects of Policing

This course analyzes the legal dimensions of police decision-making, practices, policies, and procedures. It examines stops, frisks, consensual encounters; searches and seizures; wiretapping; interviews and interrogations; and trends in accountability and preventive practices in policing.
